All full-time and part-time employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week are eligible to participate in the health insurance plan offered by the Diocese of Worcester.
Newly hired employees must submit an application within thirty (30) days of hire. Applications submitted outside this period may only be considered during an official open enrollment period.
Open Enrollment for 2026
Open enrollment will take place May through June 2026, with coverage effective July 1, 2026. Eligible employees who are not currently enrolled may elect coverage during this time.
The Diocese’s annual renewal date for health insurance coverage for Lay employees is July 1.
Important Enrollment Notice
All health insurance enrollments and changes are captured through the RETA Trust system. Employees are responsible for ensuring that their personal and dependent information in RETA Trust is accurate and up to date during the open enrollment period.
